Contractual Arrangements in Hospitals for Optimizing Health Service Management

This postdoctoral fellowship is offered within the research project titled “Studies on Contractual Arrangements in Hospitals for Optimizing Health Service Management.” The selected fellow will conduct research focused on evaluating hospital management variables, specifically Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), within the context of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangements. The work will involve both qualitative and quantitative analyses of hospital management reports. Furthermore, the study will define parameters for healthcare equipment production indicators and develop benchmarks for assessing the financial performance of hospitals.

Applicants must hold a PhD degree obtained within the last seven (7) years, from any national or international academic or research institution, and must be available for full-time dedication to the project. The FAPESP Postdoctoral Fellowship offers a monthly stipend of R$ 12,000.00 (as of January 2025), for a duration of 12 months, renewable for up to 24 months.
