International Appointment: Professor Jorge Carneiro at the Academy of International Business

The FGV EAESP celebrates the appointment of Professor Jorge Carneiro as Program Chair-Elect of the Academy of International Business, one of the most prominent academic associations in the field of international business worldwide. His term on the Board will last three years, beginning in August 2026.

At FGV EAESP, Professor Carneiro leads the strategic leadership research group at FGV Earth, focusing on climate change governance, and also serves as Head of Department. Over the course of nine years, he coordinated the OneMBA program, building a distinguished track record in managing complex, multi-institutional international programs.

His research agenda encompasses international business, strategy, and inclusive development, with publications in leading journals such as Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS), Long Range Planning (LRP), International Business Review (IBR), Management and Business Review (MBR), Journal of International Management (JIM), and Journal of Business Research (JBR).
