FGV EAESP is the best business school in Latin America, according to the ranking of the magazine América Economia
The institution's MBA programs stand out among the rest of the region
The Fundação Getulio Vargas School of Business Administration in São Paulo (FGV EAESP) has just won another title. Its MBA programs were considered the best in Latin America, according to the ranking of the magazine América Economia. In second place, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez do Chile and, in third place, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In all, 37 educational institutions participated in this edition.
The ranking that elaborated more than 20 years ago, was reformulated this year and started to consider the Return on Investment, an item that evaluates the income obtained by the students who completed the MBA three years ago, both in financial terms and professional growth, and satisfaction with the course. In this regard, FGV EAESP obtained the maximum score of 100. In addition, four other criteria are taken into account: Internationalization, Academic Strength (composed by the quality of academic training of teachers and the period of full dedication); Knowledge production and Network Power (student networking).
According to the director of FGV EAESP, Luiz Brito, the result represents the mission of the school, which is to be the best in Latin America. “This is the only ranking that evaluates Latin America and reflects the leadership of FGV EAESP in several points such as internationalization - we are the first school in the country to have the triple crown granted by the main international entities: AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) and AMBA (Association of MBAs); and the recognition of students as the best institution, in addition to an excellent staff of teachers and academic production ”.
