FGV and Hospital das Clínicas launch Executive MBA in Healthcare Management

The São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP), in partnership with Hospital das Clínicas , is launching the new Executive MBA Health course , the successor to CEAHS (Specialization Course in Hospital and Health Systems Administration). Created in 1975, CEAHS was the first Brazilian MBA in the health area to be recognized by AMBA and has trained many of the leaders in the Brazilian health sector. The Executive MBA Health combines the reference of an internationally recognized program with the experience of FGV EAESP, in an innovative program focused on the current challenges of the sector and the needs of its executives.

“The Executive MBA Health program at FGV EAESP is certainly the most complete and up-to-date MBA today. The combination of expertise from EAESP and FGVSaúde allows the course to prepare students to be agents of change in both the SUS and Supplementary Health. Much of the leadership in Brazilian health care was in the hands of its predecessor. I am pleased and honored to be a professor of this course and together we will envision new paths for the health sector,” says professor and coordinator of FGV Saúde, Adriano Massuda .

The course is aimed at professionals with at least 5 years of relevant experience and management experience, occupying leadership positions in clinics, health plans, hospitals, health systems, startups, diagnostic companies and health industries. Proficiency in English is desirable for reading and exchanges with foreign professionals.

“The Executive MBA Health combines CEAHS’s almost 50 years of experience with the latest and most innovative teaching in healthcare management. We have brought together a select team of professionals who work in both management and teaching to provide a high-quality learning experience, all in the environment of an internationally recognized business school,” highlights Laura Schiesari, course coordinator.

The EMBA in Health offers management knowledge and skills to work in the health sector, as well as access to an exclusive learning and development structure at FGV EAESP. Students will be trained to apply management knowledge to health services and systems, integrating the use of management tools to solve problems.
