The Center for Studies in Ethics, Transparency, Integrity, and Compliance of the São Paulo Business Administration School (FGV EAESP), in partnership with IES, is hosting an event to present the Corruption Index in the Healthcare Sector. Open to the public, the event will take place on January 18th at 2 p.m. at the FGV 9 de Julho Noble Hall in São Paulo. It will also be available for online participation.

The research aims to identify and map corruption risks in the Brazilian healthcare sector, assessing the perception of corruption within this field. Additionally, it seeks to serve as an evaluation tool for the effectiveness of actions taken by healthcare entities, such as IES and other sector organizations, to improve the integrity environment within healthcare—both in business and in enhancing public access to therapies, products, and diverse services.

The Index also aims to conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify and map corruption risks in the Brazilian healthcare sector, evaluate the corruption perception within it, assess major companies in terms of corruption, perceive the corruption index in the healthcare sector with a focus on academia and the public and private healthcare segments, and evaluate corruption vulnerabilities within the healthcare sector, focusing on front-line stakeholders.
