The Center for Studies on Infrastructure and Environmental Solutions at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) is holding an event to debate challenges and opportunities in the Latin American automotive market and the role of CEOs in relation to them. This public event will take place on May 9,at 10 a.m., in the FGV 9 de Julho Noble Room in Sao Paulo.

Although Latin American countries share some common obstacles, such as logistical issues and the development of supply chains, their disparities in terms of competitiveness are striking. In order to achieve global levels of competitiveness, it is essential for the public and private sectors to join forces to formulate policies that boost the growth and expansion of the auto industry.

Accordingly, the event will provide a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities of the automotive market in Latin America, as well as the crucial role of CEOs in running large companies.

The speaker will be Luiz Pedrucci, CEO of Renault LatinAmerica. The moderator will be Gesner Oliveira, the coordinator of FGV EAESP’s Center for Studies on Infrastructure and Environmental Solutions.
