FGV receives delegation from the Mozambican Ministry of Economy for knowledge exchange
Representatives of the Directorate of Administration and Human Resources of the Ministry of Economy and Finance - MEF of Mozambique participated, in early June, in meetings at the headquarters of the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE) in Botafogo.
The objective of the meeting was to deal with issues related to the exchange of knowledge in favor of improving the provision of services and the management of public resources. During the meetings, the delegation showed interest in bringing the excellence of FGV EBAPE's academic programs to MEF employees.
The entourage, made up of the national director, José Joãozinho Bandeira; the head of the Training Coordination Department, Neusa Filipa Machava; the coordinator of the Professional Training area, Suzete Matsimbe, and the coordinator of the Training Policies area, Manuel Rosa Pedro Júnior, participated in meetings with the director of FGV EBAPE, Flavio Vasconcelos; the head of the Center for Academic Training and Research – CFAP at FGV EBAPE, Professor Roberto Pimenta; and the specialist in public finance and also a professor at the School, Paolo de Renzio.
According to José Joãozinho Bandeira, FGV EBAPE's tradition in programs focused on public management was decisive in choosing the School for the exchange visit. “We saw that the School has vast experience in training civil servants and that there is a lot of knowledge to be explored. The School's programs can contribute to the improvement of our employees in providing service to our country”, he highlights.
