Financial Times ranking highlights professional leadership of graduates from CEMS, a global partner of FGV
Survey on masters in management shows that CEMS alumni achieve higher salaries and surpass professional goals
The Financial Times has just released its latest 2026 ranking of Masters in Management, featuring significant results achieved by graduates of the CEMS Master in International Management. In Brazil, the institution partners with the Professional Master in International Management (MPGI) at the Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP). The evaluation shows that alumni who completed the course, three years after graduation, remain ahead of the average of the 100 evaluated schools in essential career indicators, such as goal achievement, salary, and salary increase progressions.
According to Professor Umesh Mukhi, Academic Director of MPGI, the partnership between FGV EAESP and CEMS to offer the Master in International Management (MIM) reflects the commitment to creating opportunities that take students from Brazil to the world.
“This recognition in the CEMS ranking reaffirms the value perceived by both Brazilian and international students who are taking, or have already taken, the MPGI. Our goal is to consolidate the MPGI as the most internationalized program in Brazil, encompassing teaching, learning, and career development.”
Also according to the survey, CEMS alumni reported average salaries of US$ 125,902 three years after graduation, which is 15% above the average when compared to the other ranked schools. They also recorded a higher salary increase – 42% compared to 40% – and a stronger "aims achieved" score (87% compared to 84%).
Another aspect analyzed by the survey was the profile of CEMS graduates, showing that these professionals are capable of making decisions across different cultures, countries, and contexts, using data and technology for decision-making. Furthermore, they also lead changes, face complex challenges with an entrepreneurial spirit, act with integrity and responsibility, and develop themselves through self-reflection. All these skills are highly valued in today's job market by both major employers and startups.
CEMS schools among the best in the world
The CEMS Master in International Management (MIM) is offered through a global alliance of 33 of the world's top business schools, in collaboration with over 70 corporate partners (multinational companies) and 8 social partners. Upon graduation, students will be fluent in three languages, including English, will have studied at two member schools, and completed a consulting project and an international internship with a corporate partner.
This international experience continues to shape their careers: 95% of CEMS graduates have worked outside their home country, and 76% work for multinational companies. Overall, 98% are employed or continuing their studies, while 51% have worked with a CEMS corporate or social partner.
