The "Best Bank and Platform for Investing (MBPI)" awards financial institutions that offer the best services and investment products to the public.
The MBPI emphasizes funds because they are accessible, transparent investment products with varying degrees of complexity and sophistication. These range from a DI-indexed fund (money market) to a multimarket fund that invests its resources abroad and in derivatives, for example.
The event is an initiative of the Getulio Vargas Foundation's Center for Studies in Finance (FGVcef) in partnership with Toluna.

Evaluation process
The study to identify which Brazilian banks and platforms offer the best investment services and products to the public is carried out by researchers from the Getulio Vargas Foundation's Center for Studies in Finance (FGVcef). They analyze data from banks and platforms based on information from the previous year's awards.
The FGVCef team evaluates the competitors according to market and academic indices for open-ended funds aimed at the retail and high-income segments. Various indicators are weighted for the retail and high-income segments, and for the equities, money market, multimarket and fixed-income categories, to determine not only the winners by client segment and investment category, but also by quality of service.

O “Melhor Banco e Plataforma para Investir (MBPI)” premia as instituições financeiras que oferecem os melhores serviços e produtos de investimentos para o público.
O MBPI dá ênfase aos fundos por serem produtos de investimentos acessíveis; transparentes; e possuidores de diferentes graus de complexidade e sofisticação. Estes vão de um fundo indexado ao DI (money market) até um multimercado que aplica os seus recursos no exterior e em derivativos, por exemplo.
O evento é uma iniciativa do Centro de Estudos em Finanças da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGVcef) em parceria com a Toluna.

Processo de avaliação
O estudo para a identificação de quais bancos e plataformas brasileiros oferecem os melhores serviços e produtos de investimentos para o público é feito por pesquisadores do Centro de Estudos em Finanças da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGVcef). Eles analisam dados dos bancos e plataformas com base em informações referentes ao ano anterior da premiação.
A equipe do FGVCef avalia os concorrentes segundo índices consagrados no mercado e na academia, referentes a fundos abertos à captação voltados aos segmentos de varejo e alta renda. São ponderados diversos indicadores para os segmentos varejo e alta renda, e para as categorias ações, money market, multimercados, e renda fixa, para apurar não somente os vencedores por segmento de clientes e categorias de investimentos, mas também pela qualidade de serviço.
