This course provides the necessary tools for preparing and improving applied research projects with an emphasis on finance. The course offers an in-depth discussion of empirical methods to be used in thesis research and trains students to use statistical techniques and analytical tools in order to conduct rigorous empirical analysis. In addition, it explores the possible practical impacts of the research, demonstrating how to apply empirical methods to solve real finance problems, combining the rigor of academic research in a practical context of the world in which we live. The proposal is to explore how to apply these methods to solve real problems in the world of finance.
