The business environment, both globally and nationally, has undergone profound changes in recent years, which have been considered to be directly related to the application of digital innovation and the use of its technologies to transform and generate value for society and organizations.

The challenge for researchers in the field of Information Technology is to study the applied and theoretical problems related to the use of information technology, and to propose solutions with scientific rigor, considering the main research questions, theories and contexts in which they occur.

The contribution of the course, in addition to the improvement provided by this knowledge, also lies in the identification of these domains and their opportunities for research and publication
