Organizations can be interpreted from their strategic objectives but also as political systems where conflicts and power games take place. In previous courses, "Understanding Organizations" and "Behavior in Organizations", Morgan's (1996) presentation of organizational metaphors provided the conceptual basis for diagnosing organizations and organizational behavior. The subject "Critical Aspects of Behavior in Organizations" continues the previous subjects and aims to discuss a new metaphor that contributes to analyzing organizational complexity. The "Psychic Prisons" metaphor that guides the discussion in this course includes issues such as, among others, repressed sexuality, the fear of death and conscious and unconscious processes that organize and shape organizations.
