Supply chain management in organizations, whether public or private, has moved from a more operational focus to a more strategic role. To enable organizations to generate greater value and consequently grow and become more competitive, it is essential to have in-depth knowledge of supply chain professionals, their role in organizations and the areas in which their activities must be aligned with business strategies. In this way, this professional will be an important agent of transformation in the environment in which they operate.
With this in mind, the aim of this course is to discuss what competitiveness and value creation are at each stage of the chain and in macro contexts, and how professionals in the various areas of the Supply Chain can contribute, not only to reducing costs, but also by increasing the customer's willingness to pay. In addition to trends in business models and the SCM area, the course will discuss the skills required of a professional to deal with the current challenges in the area.
