Finance and Supply Chain are virtual event themes
Faced with the rise of the Supply Chain market, the School of Business Administration of São Paulo (FGV EAESP) promotes the event “ Sacado Risk: win-win-win financial strategy or window for accounting inconsistencies? ”. Open to the public, the webinar will take place on April 18 and will be shown live on FGV's YouTube channel at 7 pm.
In 2013, Procter & Gamble (P&G) announced its new supply chain finance operation (withdrawal risk, forfait or reverse factoring) with Fibria as a win, win, win relationship: buyers, suppliers and banks win – what it even became a Harvard Case.
On the other hand, the repercussion of the disclosure of accounting inconsistencies in these operations by Lojas Americanas has led to its questioning. Is the Drawee Risk operation a win, win, win financial strategy or a window for accounting inconsistencies?
These issues will be debated by panelists Arthur Ridolfo, professor of Finance at FGV EAESP, and Jorge Vieira, professor of Accounting at UFF and guest at FGV EAESP. The debater will be Edilene Santana Santos, coordinator of the 2nd degree in Accounting, Finance & Analytics at FGV EAESP.
