FGV Project Approved in FAPESP International Call

FGV CEPESP, the first interschool center at FGV (bringing together the São Paulo School of Business Administration and the São Paulo School of Economics), has had a project approved in the 2025 International Call for Young Researchers.

The study Elite Adaptation and Accountability in Latin America will be led by researcher Manoel Gehrke Ryff Moreira, a UCLA (University of California) alumnus, who will join the School for the next six years to establish a new research group at the Center for Politics and Economics of the Public Sector (FGV CEPESP).

The call, organized by FAPESP, selected 36 proposals with strong scientific vision, high impact potential, and consistent strategies for creating innovative research groups in the state of São Paulo.

The initiative aimed to attract young researchers based abroad to lead projects in Brazil, contributing to strengthening institutions in São Paulo as global talent hubs.

This achievement reinforces FGV EAESP’s role in producing high-quality knowledge and expands research on public sector economics and politics.
