FGV Entrance Exam: Undergraduate in Business Administration begins selection process for 2025.2

The São Paulo School of Business Administration at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EAESP) is accepting applications for the mid-year entrance exam. Interested parties can apply until May 6. There will be a total of 250 places available for the Business Administration course, with classes starting in the second half of 2025.  

Vacancies: 

Among the vacancies offered, 210 are via entrance exams, 6 via Enem, 24 for international selection processes – IB ( International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme ), ABITUR (exam that qualifies students to enter Higher Education in Germany), BAC (exam that qualifies students to enter Higher Education in France) and SAT (American exam similar to Enem) – and 10 for social demand and diversity (the candidate must have completed high school entirely in a public school or in a private school with 100% scholarship granted due to economic need, or declare themselves black, brown or indigenous. 

Registrations 

The fee for the entrance exam and international exam selection process is R$250 reais, and the process via Enem has a fee of R$125 reais.  

For students who are finishing or have completed all of their high school education in a public school (municipal, state or federal) or who are full scholarship students in private schools, FGV EAESP offers an exemption from the registration fee. You just need to prove your condition by providing documents.  

 Registration must be done on the FGV Entrance Exam website . 

 Tests and results 

The tests will be held in person. Candidates will be able to take the tests in the following cities: 

  • Belo Horizonte (MG), 

  • Brasilia (DF), 

  • Campinas (SP), 

  • Campo Grande (MS), 

  • Cuiaba (MT), 

  • Curitiba (PR), 

  • Fortaleza (CE), 

  • Goiania (GO), 

  • Porto Alegre (RS), 

  • Recife (PE), 

  • Ribeirao Preto (SP), 

  • Rio de Janeiro (RJ), 

  • Salvador (BA), 

  • Sao Jose dos Campos (SP), 

  • Sao Paulo (SP), 

  • Uberlandia (MG). 

When registering, candidates must indicate, in order of preference, three of the cities mentioned above, including São Paulo. If candidates choose São Paulo (SP) as the priority location for the test, it will not be necessary to select the other two options.  

It is worth remembering that there will only be tests in cities with 20 or more candidates registered as first option. If the first and second options cannot be met, the selection process will be held in the city of São Paulo. 

About the selection process 

The selection process consists of two phases, the 1st Phase with four objective tests and the 2nd Phase consisting of two discursive tests.   

The objective questions, which will last 3 and a half hours, will involve mathematics, human sciences (history, geography and current affairs), Portuguese and English. The discursive module will have 3 and a half hours for the essay and the mathematics test. 

The first phase of the exams will be held on June 8th and the scores for this phase will be published from 6pm on June 17th. The final result will be published from 6pm on June 27th . In the selection process via ENEM , the result will be released on June 23rd, after 6pm . Finally, the results of the international exams will be released after 6pm on July 14th.  

Scholarships 

FGV offers scholarships, including Merit -based scholarships for those who are ranked first in the Entrance Exam. Merit-based scholarships are personal and non-transferable and will depend on the student's academic performance and compliance with the criteria established by each course in order to be maintained. 

Social Demand - granted according to the financial and social need of the applicant, renewable every six months, if requested, according to criteria stipulated by each course. It is necessary to send documents to prove the social demand. 

Refundable Scholarship - Granted in the form of school financing to undergraduate students who demonstrate good academic performance and/or economic and financial need. The financial resources for the Refundable Scholarship come from the FGV Scholarship Fund. The percentage to be granted to each student is defined by the FGV Scholarship Committee based on the documentation presented by the applicant student.
