FGV EAESP receives EQUIS accreditation for the fourth consecutive time
The institution was the first in Brazil to be EQUIS accredited; only with 4 consecutive cycles of maximum accreditation of 5 years
The Fundação Getulio Vargas School of Business Administration in São Paulo (FGV EAESP) received, for the fourth consecutive time, the accreditation of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS)
It is the first institution in the country to achieve this feat. In the world, less than 20 schools have been accredited by EFMD in four consecutive cycles of maximum 5-year accreditation.
EQUIS is one of the three main international business school assessment systems. Its evaluation consists of several criteria, among them, the content of the courses, specialization of the teaching staff, programs of classes taught mainly in the English language, research development, international partnerships, student exchanges, market recognition, employability and infrastructure.
In addition to EFMD / EQUIS accreditation, FGV EAESP also has accreditations granted by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
In Brazil, it was the first institution with the quality recognized by these three accreditors, the so-called triple-crown accreditation. Only 77 institutions in the world have this title.
