Digital Transformation Congress (CTD2020)

Digital Transformation, these various dimensions, is the focus and theme of the Digital Transformation 2020 Congress, CTD 2020, organized by FGVcia from FGV EAESP.

Information Technology (IT) has always been evolving since its emergence, both in its offer and in its use by associations. This evolution presents clear cycles of technological innovation that have led to cycles of innovation of technology products and services, which in turn allows cycles of innovation for their use by associations.

In today's environment, digital innovation, especially its use by companies, has enabled both the discovery of how we can improve and solve problems in interactions between people, companies and governments, and the questioning of how we can do everything differently and better. .

This different and better way has been called Digital Transformation, which makes it possible to obtain a social and economic gain with a wide and intense application of digital technologies.

Transformation's opportunities for social and economic gain are enormous, especially if we consider the potential of this new digital environment. The challenge is to understand digital innovation and how it can be used by society and companies.

The risks are also great and excrement that are considered and considered factors so that they do not compromise the gains that can be obtained.

CTD 2020 contributions:

About
The Digital Transformation 2020 Congress, CTD 2020, has the theme of digital transformation, enabling and provoking that individuals, companies and governments can carry out their interactions and processes differently and better, generating positive impact and value for society.

CTD 2020 aims to stimulate the creation, dissemination and application of knowledge in the area of ​​digital transformation, in the integration between business and technology and between academia and practice; promoting the digital experience, the link between technology and business and the generation of value.

CTD 2020 will be a rich and conducive environment for bringing together and promoting the interaction between the academic and professional environments; highlight the generation and practical application of knowledge, generating a positive impact; and to base the practical application with current theories and models.

The Digital Experience will allow executives and professionals, professors, researchers and students, together, to have the opportunity to expand and share the knowledge of digital innovation applied to business, when elaborating the business model that solves a business challenge through digital transformation.

CTD 2020 will feature Workshops offered by FGVcia's partner companies and professors, which participants can participate as part of the Congress activities.

CTD 2020 is an FGV EAESP FGVcia event, and will take place online, on November 23 and 24, 2020.

Activities

CTD 2020 presents five types of activities that aim to cover the multiple interests of various groups involved in the Digital Transformation activity of businesses. Each type of activity provides a set of opportunities for interaction focused on multiple groups of participants, who can participate in more than one activity.

Scientific and Applied Works

This type of activity aims to promote and disseminate academic and applied works, conducted under a strict scientific basis, and produced in order to enhance the development of scientific knowledge in the themes of Digital Transformation. Each author may submit up to three articles, regardless of being a single author or co-author. Four types of articles are accepted. See Works for details.

Digital Experience

The Digital Experience will allow executives and professionals, professors, researchers and students, together, to have the opportunity to expand and share the knowledge of digital innovation applied to business, when developing the business model that solves a business challenge through digital transformation.

Workshops

The Workshops will address specific issues of Digital Transformation, both in technological aspects and in business applications, which can be used to develop business models to solve the challenges of the Digital Experience. The workshops will be offered by partner companies and FGVcia professors. Knowledge and experience will be of great value far beyond CTD 2020, as they will be adherent and applicable to the reality of companies.

Digital Transformation in Industry
Digital Innovation is an integral part of people's lives, changing their daily lives and their relationship with their work and means of production. This Workshop will discuss the trends and the reality of Industry 4.0.

Digital Transformation in Health
This Workshop will discuss the concepts of Digital Transformation in Health, possible transformations and challenges in its value chain, from the providers to the consumers of these services.

Digital Transformation in Agribusiness
This Workshop will address concepts of Digital Transformation in the area of agribusiness, possible challenges, advantages and opportunities for efficiency and quality in agriculture in a sustainable way.

Digital Transformation in the Financial Sector
Concepts of digital transformation in the financial sector, with emphasis on open banking, instant payment and fintechs.

Information Security in the Digital Transformation Environment
This Workshop will address information security management concepts, one of the critical success factors for implementing Digital Transformation initiatives.

Digital Experience

The Digital Experience will allow executives and professionals, teachers, researchers and students, together, to have the opportunity to expand and share the knowledge of digital innovation applied to business, as they develop the business model that solves a business challenge through digital transformation.

The business model to be elaborated to solve the business challenge through Digital Transformation has as conceptual basis the models of Dimensions of the Use of Information Technology and Dimensions of Digital Transformation. These bases have been developed and have been applied with great success in FGVcia's Digital Transformation Project. They allow identifying opportunities for digital innovation linked to the reality of companies, establishing the relationship with business performance and obtaining subsidies for the governance and administration of the digital initiative of companies.

The challenges will be elaborated based on the reality of companies in this moment of great transformation of society, economy and market, representing the current situation of companies typical of the main sectors.

The solutions must have full adherence to the models of the conceptual base Dimensions of the Use of Information Technology and Dimensions of Digital Transformation. The use of scientific academic content available at CTD 2020 will be widely valued.

The Digital Experience Solutions Evaluation Committee will be composed of executives from the Executive Committee and the FGVcia Partner Companies Club, and professors from FGV EAESP.

The winning solutions will receive honorable mention and will be published on the CTD 2020 website.
