Leonardo Martins de Oliveira
Bio
Master’s graduate and PhD candidate in the Public Administration and Government program at the São Paulo School of Business Administration of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-EAESP). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Institute of Economics at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He also completed the Interdisciplinary Higher Education Program at the same university. He is a researcher at FGVcemif.
He received the 2021 FGV Research Award for Best Master’s Thesis and the Best Master’s Thesis award at the 9th Brazilian Meeting of Public Administration (IX EBAP), presented by the Brazilian Public Administration Society (SBAP).
His research interests focus on two main areas: (i) LGBTQIAP+ policies and religious conservatism in Brazil; and (ii) cash transfer policies.
