The Center for Quantitative Studies in Economics and Finance (FGVquantfin) invites applications for four (4) postdoctoral fellowship positions associated with the FAPESP Thematic Project “Econometric Modeling and Forecasting in High-Dimensional Models”, coordinated by Professor Pedro Luiz Valls Pereira.

Research Areas

Robust Methods for Volatility Estimation with High-Dimensional Data
Development, implementation, and computational analysis support.
Supervisor: Prof. Luiz Koodi Hotta.

Forecasting Methods for High-Dimensional Financial Data
Development, implementation, and computational analysis support.
Supervisor: Prof. Pedro Luiz Valls Pereira.

Forecasting Methods for High-Dimensional Economic Data
Development, implementation, and computational analysis support.
Supervisor: Prof. Emerson Marçal.

Macrostructure of Brazilian Equity Markets
Development, implementation, and computational analysis support.
Supervisor: Prof. Marcelo Fernandes.

Eligibility and Application Information

The fellowships are open to both Brazilian and international candidates.
Applications will be accepted until December 3, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. (BRT).

The selected fellows will receive a FAPESP Postdoctoral Fellowship with a monthly stipend of R$ 12,570.00, along with a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual fellowship amount, intended to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activities.
