Center for Public Administration and Government Studies (CEAPG)
The Getulio Vargas Foundation's Center for Studies in Public Administration and Government (CEAPG) conducts applied research and trains researchers and managers, with the aim of generating and disseminating knowledge, contributing to the improvement of public management and the deepening of Brazilian democracy.
Research carried out in four main areas:
- Vulnerabilities;
- Education
- Technology and Governments;
- Articulation between State and Civil Society.
Training of researchers and managers in Public Administration and Government
- In-depth knowledge of public governance;
- Focus on local development and guaranteeing citizens' rights;
- Prioritization of field research;
- Production, storage, systematization and dissemination of ideas, data and information, with special attention to innovation in public action;
- Training researchers and managers capable of contributing to a better understanding of and action on the diversity of national realities;
- Addressing the challenges of Brazilian public management and overcoming inequalities.

To contribute to improving public management and deepening Brazilian democracy, through academic production aimed at strengthening sub-national governments, local development and the empowerment of society.
