The Center for Infrastructure Studies & Environmental Solutions (FGVceisa) aims to discuss various topics related to infrastructure, such as planning processes, management, regulation, antitrust and the environment. The choice of topics reflects the enormous shortcomings currently encountered and the consequent need for investment in strategic infrastructure sectors.

The meetings and projects take a multidisciplinary approach, without losing sight of the economic dimension. We therefore count on the participation of professionals and researchers from a wide range of backgrounds.

Previous meetings have included Sérgio Avelleda, São Paulo's Secretary of Mobility and Transportation; José Cechin, Executive Director of Fenasaúde; Vinícius Marques de Carvalho, former President of CADE; Luciano Lopes Dias, former President of COSANPA, Professor Kartik Chandran from Columbia University's Environmental Engineering Department; Américo Sampaio, Sanitation Coordinator at the São Paulo State Department of Sanitation and Water Resources; Hélio Castro, Director of Technical Regulation and Inspection of Basic Sanitation at ARSESP, José Serra, Senator and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, among others.

Some of the sectors that FGVceisa has been studying and developing are basic sanitation services, waste management and the circular economy, transport, energy, urban parks and telecommunications, as well as their correlations, through themes such as smart, circular, resilient and sustainable cities.

Missão

Estimular a produção e a aplicação de soluções ambientais e de infraestrutura, promovendo o desenvolvimento sustentável por meio da integração entre academia, setor privado e setor público.

Visão

Ser referência nacional e internacional em pesquisas e projetos aplicados nas áreas de infraestrutura, soluções ambientais e ESG.
