Novo mestrado profissional fortalece formação para gestores públicos estaduais e municipais
The FGV Cidades program, from the São Paulo School of Business Administration of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV EAESP), in partnership with Banco do Brasil, is launching a Professional Master's Program in Management and Public Policy , in a special edition aimed at subnational governments and cities. The initiative seeks to respond to the growing demands for qualified public managers in the face of more complex administrative environments, the requirement for innovation, and the continuous monitoring of public policies.
To present the course, a webinar will be held on November 26th at 7 PM , with the participation of experts from the public sector and academic leadership from FGV EAESP. The meeting will feature Claudia Acosta , professor and coordinator of the master's program with an emphasis on subnational governments and cities; Ciro Biderman , professor and director of FGV Cidades; Marco Antônio Teixeira , professor and general coordinator of the program; Leiner Jean Bastos , Solutions Manager at Banco do Brasil; and Rogério Ceron , Secretary of the National Treasury. The moderation will be conducted by Erika Lisboa , professor and adjunct coordinator of FGV Cidades.
The new master's program is aimed at public officials at the state and municipal levels, offering in-depth training in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of public policies. In a hybrid model with a focus on professional practice, the course seeks to develop a collaborative learning network among participants. Successful applicants will receive financial support from Banco do Brasil to cover educational costs.
