Business Strategies for Sustainability

“Sustainable ROI” seeks to measure the financial return of companies' sustainability projects.

In partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), in 2016 FGVces produced a report with eleven case studies of seven participating companies, analyzing the financial return of their sustainability projects.

Due to the success of the first phase of the project, GIZ established a new partnership with FGVces to develop the “Sustainable Return on Investment Implementation Handbook”. The document seeks to encourage sustainability managers to incorporate capital budgeting techniques as part of their management practices, presenting a guide to those who want to economically analyze their socio-environmental projects.

FGVces also worked in partnership with Fundação Iochpe to develop a tool to evaluate the financial return of Formare Program for companies that have the program in their units. More information at: https://formare.org.br/beneficios/
