The FSJ is an interdisciplinary department. Its 29 faculty members teach in the undergraduate, graduate and executive education courses in the Business, Law, and Economics Schools at FGVSP. The Department has been a part of the education, research and consulting activities since 1954 for the public and private sector and in non-governmental organizations. The Law area privileges international and Brazilian law studies and management, financial markets and development. Sociologist professors are specialists in consumer behavior, marketing and critical macro-analysis of development. Political scientists focus mainly on political risk analysis, Game Theory and Scenarios for strategic planning, in addition to political institutions, political economy and Finance in the public sector. Philosophers give basic and advanced courses in Philosophy, logic, conceptual analysis and ethics applied to management of the public and private sector. Psychologists are dedicated to basic psychology courses applied to management and advanced courses and consulting in human resources management, leadership and critical studies in administration.
Our faculty is qualified for teaching, research and publishing at international levels taking part in international associations and global workgroups about key topics for public and private management in Brazil and in emerging markets.
