Professor in the Department of Planning and Economic Analysis at the School of Business Administration of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (EAESP-FGV). He holds a PhD in Public Administration and Government from EAESP-FGV and is an associate researcher at the Center for New Development Studies at the same institution. He is currently Assistant Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Political Economy, External Consultant to UNCTAD and coordinator of the Economic Complexity Working Group of the Young Scholar Initiative (YSI) of the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET). He was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University's Institute of Latin American Studies (CAPES PRINT Fellow) in NYC and at Seoul National University (ERASMUS MUNDUS). He has a degree in Economics from PUC-SP and a Master's degree in Economics from Sorbonne University (Double Diploma - Paris Diderot and Paris 13 - Sorbonne Paris Cite). His academic publications include articles in national and international journals, book chapters and discussion papers on the following topics: Microeconomics and Applied Macroeconomics, Post-Keynesian Macroeconomics, Technological Catch-Up Strategies, Economic Development, Public Sector Administration and Economics, Political Economy, Brazilian Economic History.
