Daniel holds a PhD degree in Management from Mackenzie University. He has relevant experience as manager and director in agribusiness companies, notably in the global commodities traders ADM and Cofco and banks Santander and BTG Pactual, dealing mostly with both business management and structured finance. Related to business management, he is experienced in the trading of soybeans, corn and biofuels. Regarding structured finance, he has experience in structuring financing solutions for farmers, coops and grain traders and in managing credit risk of those operations. He is currently playing the role of structured finance director at AGI (TSX: AFN) for the operations in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Bolivia. He is professor in the Department of Production Management and Operations at São Paulo School of Business Management at Fundação Getulio Vargas (EAESP/FGV), teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
