Dual Degree Program of the MPGI (Master of International Management)
The Dual Degree program under the MPGI (Master of International Management) offers students a unique opportunity to study at two prestigious institutions, combining the academic strengths of FGV (Fundação Getulio Vargas) in Brazil with a partner school abroad. This program is designed to cultivate global leaders equipped with a comprehensive understanding of international business.
Application Process Requirements: Include a Bachelor's and Master's transcript, CV, motivation letter, English proficiency (TOEFL 100/IELTS 7), and recommendation letters.
Partner Institutions (starting at FGV):
Candidates applying for the Double Degree program, which begins at FGV EAESP, will spend their first year in the MPGI program before continuing at one of our partner institutions. FGV EAESP will review each application and nominate students to the partner university. The final acceptance decision will be communicated to applicants once the partner institution has completed its evaluation.
- Yale University: Global Business and Society (GBS).
- Hong Kong University of Science and Technology: Master of Science in International Management (MIMT) or Global Operations (MSGO).
- Columbia University SIPA: Master of International Affairs (MIA) or Master of Public Administration (MPA).
- ESADE: Master in International Management, Master in Marketing Management or Master in Finance.
- Bocconi: Master of Sciences in International Management or Master of Sciences in Management.
- St. Gallen: Banking & Finance (MBF), Strategy & International Management (SIM), Accounting and Corporate Finance (MACFin), Business Innovation (MBI), Marketing Management (MiMM), General Management (MGM).
Note: students who choose the Dual Degree but are not accepted by the host school risk losing their ranking position and may have to reconsider their options.
Partner Institutions (starting abroad):
Candidates applying for the Double Degree program with Sciences Po or HEC Paris must first submit their application through the designated platform, where FGV EAESP will also review each submission. After a detailed individual assessment, FGV and the partner institution will jointly decide on the selected candidates. The final acceptance decision will be communicated to applicants after the joint evaluation process is completed by both institutions.
