Jose Luiz Carlos Kugler
He is a professor at FGV-EAESP and ESPM. He has developed several projects and researches in strategic management, business plans, indicator modeling, business intelligence and customer segmentation. He was CEO of Optimize Tecnologia; Executive Director of Business Development at CTIS Tecnologia S/A; Latin America Director, Informix Software Corporation; Technical Director, CPM Sistemas (São Paulo); Director of Professional Services, CPM Systems (Fort Lauderdale); and General Manager, Morgen Trading Company (New York), among others. In the governmental area, he worked on strategic projects for the Government of the State of São Paulo, in the area of public security (database processes and administrative modernization); he was a BACEN consultant for knowledge management; was an adviser to the Minister Paulo Jobim Filho, when he directed the elaboration of the inspection indicators of the Ministry of Labor and Employment. He was a professor at Fordham University, New York, and at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was a founding member of the Society for Information Systems. He was an editorial advisor to the Journal for Global Information Systems. He is the author of 3 books.
