Ana Maria Malik
Graduated in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1978), Master in Business Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation - SP (1983) and Doctor of Medicine (Preventive Medicine) from the University of São Paulo (1991). She is a full Professor at FGV EAESP (Department of General Administration and Human Resources) and an academic elected to the Brazilian Academy of Quality. Currently, she is an ad hoc advisor of several health and management magazines, member of the editorial board - Einstein Magazine, guest professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo, member of the board of Alass - Latin Association for Analysis of Health Systems, and of the Foundation for Patient Safety. She is a Coordinator at FGVsaúde for the Getulio Vargas Foundation - SP, deputy director of PROAHSA at the Getulio Vargas Foundation - SP and a coordinator of the health line of the Professional Masters in Management for Competitiveness (MPGC) at FGV EAESP. She was a director of public and private hospitals, as well as a public manager linked to the State and Municipal Health Departments of São Paulo. She has acted and still works in Councils linked to public and private organizations. She is experienced in Collective Health, with emphasis on Health Administration, and the subjects she is experience most are management and administration in health, human resources in health and health planning, assessment, quality and health security. She guides graduation and post-graduation students and has articles, book chapters and books published in her areas of work. She covers the GENiE group (the Global Educators Network for HealthCare Innovation Education) and the Advisory Panel on the Value Based Healthcare of the Economist Intelligence Unit ( EIU).
