Graduated in Mechanical-Aeronautical Engineering from ITA, he has a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from EAESP/FGV and a Master's degree in Communication and Semiotics from PUC/SP. He is a professor in the Marketing Department of FGV-EAESP since 1993 and teaches the FGV-IDE MBA courses at FGV-Management and Executives. He worked as an executive for 12 years in the areas of Marketing and Strategic Planning always in large companies such as Alpargatas, Abril, Heublein (currently Diageo/Smirnoff and Campari), Equipamentos Villares and Moore Formulários (current Donnelley). He was Commercial Director of ARIES Representations and served in the Government of the State of São Paulo for 4 years as Director of Communications and Ombudsman, where he helped form ARTESP - Transport Regulatory Body. He has been a consultant for ARIES Conhecimento & Negócios and FGV Projetos for more than 25 years, always coordinating and elaborating projects in the areas of marketing, research and strategic planning for several public and private companies.
